2007 - What a great season! We celebrated our most successful season in the club's 220 year history, with two title winning sides. Also, teams in the club's flourishing Colts section enjoyed success at various age levels, both boys and girls.
About Our Club: Cricket has been played on our picturesque ground at Cross Green, Eversley, for the past 220 summers. We field four teams every Saturday in the Thames Valley League, two non-league sides every Sunday, and in 2008 we will be launching our Academy XI Sunday side. We compete in several cup competitions, including the National Village Cup and the evening Aylward Cup.
We have a thriving and expanding Colts section with boys’ teams at under 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 levels, plus three girls’ teams at under 15, 13 and 10 levels.
We are playing Hampshire County CC 1st XI on Friday 23rd May, in support of John Crawley's benefit year. For information on the corporate sponsorship and hosting opportunities, email grant_whelan@msn.com
Expansion is now the keyword with good progress being made on our second cricket ground, and work which has taken place over the winter to double the size of the clubhouse is just about complete. A new colts training area is also being prepared.
The club welcomes membership applications from players, colts, coaches, umpires and scorers. Contact Andy Hogston, Chairman of Cricket Committee: ahogston@tallygenicom.co.uk
